Entrepreneurs Owain and Dominic describe how their business Head and Griffiths has progressed during their time inafishbowl.com and how celebrity support has helped them.
We've been quite fortunate in getting some celebrity endorsement from snooker ace Mark Selby already - he can be found wearing a Head & Griffiths jacket and shirt in issue 10 of Soar Magazine and will be wearing Head & Griffiths shirts for the Snooker World Open.
This was the first time I had organised a professional photoshoot. Other photoshoots I had done before it had been done at university or off cuff on the idea 'we need to do one, let's just go and do one'.
However, what I had come to realise is what we put out in terms of imagery really influenced people's buying decisions - if they see a well taken product image, they're more likely to buy the product. We were now in a position where we had finance to be able to do a professional photoshoot. However, constantly I was looking at ways of trying to keep money going out on the photoshoot to a minimum. Things such as using suits we already had in stock, using my own suits and using the university studio space all helped in keeping expenditure down.
Hi Fishbowlers and Experts,
I thought I would take this opportunity to respond to some of the expert advice that has been posted for us. We really appreciate your blogs and we read and discuss all of them.
Its been a while since I did an update blog on life at Head & Griffiths and what a better time to do it than when sitting waiting for a train at Tampere in Finland. I am here for a family friend's birthday who is a big boy in the Finnish business world. I am here with one of our new accessories - an amazing suit bag (100 % leather of course) - and a special suit for the big event tomorrow evening.
